Early Life and Career

Edin Terzić was born on October 30, 1982, in Menden, West Germany. He began his football career as a youth player for Borussia Dortmund in 1996. However, he never played professionally as a player.

Coaching Career

After retiring as a player, Terzić became a youth coach for Borussia Dortmund in 2010. He quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to assistant coach in 2018 under Lucien Favre. Terzić played a key role in the team's success, helping them win the DFB-Pokal in 2021.

In December 2020, Terzić was appointed as interim manager of Borussia Dortmund following Favre's dismissal. He guided the team to a third-place finish in the Bundesliga and won the German Super Cup. In June 2021, he was confirmed as the permanent manager.
